Dreaming of Seasons
From the mountains come
a gentle autumn breeze-
cool, crisp, a slight bit of chill.
The leaves a vibrant display of
the true beauty of endings;
our fascination with death.
Thousands of miles of the most beautiful trees
all decide to die in synchrony
and that'd alright, really, with me,
as I sit on my dorm porch with a mug of tea.
A simple want- but alas!
One that can only be obtained through the passing of time,
And the clock is ticking.

I have never seen Fall. This may seem absurd to most, but I've lived in Florida my entire life and never gotten to properly experience seasons, but that changes in college. Time is counting down.
