The Lonely Moon

The water, so calm
Looking up at the blank sky
Seeing the beautiful moon
Looking up seeing it watch me
Feeling a bit alone here
With the tree surrounding me
The moon looking down at me
Koi fish swimming near me
The feeling of loneliness still comes
My heart screams
Wishing to have someone beside me
Looking up at the moon again
Noticing that it is lonely too
Looking back down and grabbing my legs
Feeling not so lonely
As the moon shines down
On the pond with the koi
