Cancer
I was depressed
spent a lot of time in bed
thinking about death
mom believed I required treatment
I was in clinical depression
therefore I attend a weekly Support Group
Support Group featured a rotating cast of characters
Why did the cast rotate?
A side effect of dying
Support Group met every Wednesday
We all sat in a circle in the middle of the cross
where the heart of Jesus would have been
talked about we as young cancer survivors
cancer took but spared
the most generous soul would call his life
