Alone, or Lonely?
It was only until
you were gone and
I was left alone
that I realized
how many simple
in-between moments
that I used to relish in the fact
that they were done alone
Now felt very lonely.

I used to (voluntarily) spend almost every moment I could alone while at school. I have been spending those same downtimes with people this year, and when one of those people was out for a few days, I realized how empty those moments I used to enjoy now felt.
