Eulogy
A silence has swept through the city,
because it seems like everyone has heard what has happened
A silence has swept through the city,
because everyone is afraid of what to say to me.
He was a good man,
he was an honorable man,
Yet he slipped away.
The movies do not bring the pain to justice.
It does not only feel like there is a hole in my heart,
But as if my heart has been ripped out of my chest and it's a miracle that I'm still breathing.
And though people surrounding me offer to hold me as I cry,
I feel utterly alone and empty inside.
When will it be over?
When will I feel alright?
Because I'd like to travel to then.
