My MTV Crib
My MTV Crib
Welcome to my crib
Or more a cave
With clothes on the floor
Books on my chair
The blinds are closed tight
And there's no good source of light
Here I spend my time
Where I waste away my life
It looks fairly sad
But it's honestly not that bad
Because my room may be messy
But it holds my heart
Everything has its place
In this organized chaos
A place to hold a seance
To connect to my missing joy
Here I am me
Raw and true
With friends oceans away
And stories read aloud for survey
Laughter too loud
Blankets too warm
Here I’m a kid
With no semblance pain
No past to remember
No facade to remain
I mismatch my socks
Quietly sing my songs
I write to myself
Search up pictures of frogs
(The ones with the funny font)
To hang on the walls
Because its my room
And I’ll do what I want
I’ll clean the floor later
After this call
Maybe I’ll do laundry
Just so I don't fall
On my way to the desk
Where I am my happiest.

This is just a simple recolection of my room. Though an unclean state most of the time, it's my favorite place to be.
