A Statement In Requisite
Words have never failed me
Not till recently.
The fact of proper enunciation
And flow
Hindered by unhinged thoughts
Running rampant along train tracks
Waiting to be hit by the right adjective.
I fail to find responses for my actions,
Even as I spew my heart to the world
I shout for those I care for
And whisper for those much more
I implement them in my stories
And send laughter filled pies
I stutter through the reservoir
Of things on my mind
To pick the perfect anecdote
Or write through fog and slime
So beautifully you struggle,
To voice what I can sing
And though my response was crafted
With loose threads, with string
Listen to the night dark blue
I whisper once,
I love you too.

I wrote this a responce to a very good friend of mine. He wrote me a poem, expressing how difficult it is for him to vocalize his love. It was a sweet poem, that prompted me to remind him that I love him too.
