It was an accident they said
But it was bound to happen for little ones who were trained
They screamed and ran
They ducked for cover
Like Hide and Seek
Like Tag
Except
This was no game
This was a real
ManHunt
with bullets for hands

The naivety and innocence leaves youth so young now and this is a representation with it. We play catch with bullets instead of balls as young as preschool. We grow up too soon.
