Where I Belong.

A spine so thick,
engraved with words
a story lies in between,
these pages bound together
by very tightly wound string.
Where I can escape for an hour,
a minute,
or sometimes even days.
Where the world is filled with color,
but the pages, only grays.
I can escape from the turmoil
that is life,
and live between the lines.
This is where I truly belong,
where I believe my future lies.
