Rising East, Setting West
two tigers
rocky mountainous jungle-
loud vibrant roar
the glistening tides -
masks the depth
of the sea
the crust of the Earth
supports countless nations
that have risen to great height
and those who have tripped
upon the troublesome pebbles of infamy
at the start of a millennium
the sun had finally risen
above the clouds of the east
ending the century of darkness
that the western dawn had wrought
a nation of countless sea
of faces, and with
their blood staining the sky
of the past a crimson hue
of the future a scintillating azure
crumbling marble columns-
lay strewn upon
the bleak drudgery
a bamboo shoot-
toward the glassy ceiling
crashing shards
