Outside v. Inside
Outside my mind, everything is pure happiness. Nothing can go wrong. I see the sun and its rays, the fluffy white clouds, the different colors of the rainbow. Everything is bright and vibrant. It is a place everyone wants to be. You make friends, you meet people, fall in love. Happiness is around every corner. But inside. Ha! That’s a full joke. The depths of my soul, dark and stormy. Flashing with bolts of lightning. The inside is different. The inside of my mind is a terrible place. No one wants to live in my mind. Never positive, full of anxiety. My mind, my poor mind. Struck in the past memories, the ones that haunt me. If you’ve ever seen the inside of me, I’m sorry. The storm blowing makes it hard to wake up in the morning, makes it hard to keep going. I love the outside me, but the inside can go to hell.
