Lullabies
I saw an angelic girl once.
A sweet and lovely lady;
Playing the lyre-singing some lullabies.
A girl named; Miss Sadie.
Her lullabies were so beautiful and fine;
Kings and queens; traveled far to watch her play.
Playing from Apollo's Lyre, It was so divine.
Her voice dances with the wind and trees; whilst it sways.
No mere mortal was as divine as her.
She was so perfect even the Gods were envious.
In the hearts of the muses were hatred and fear.
They plotted and murdered; it was the first of August.
With a stroke of a knife, she died.
Never to be seen again.
