There is a certain mystery as to how we get ourselves in a certain place, time, or situation in our lives. So, I wanted this piece to read both ways to compare the lack of control that we have over unwanted situations with the conditions we might've set up for ourselves which caused the situation; a display of uncertainty within ourselves which might manifest as a loss of self.
