sometimes i wish
my words could capture
the beauty of a moment
not its meaning, no.
that perfect snapshot
of pure, candid joy
or of the sun’s brilliant rays
stretching across that great firmament.
i want to find a linguistic camera
and preserve every vibrant sunset
every hope, every dream
in its full beauty.
not just these bare, sparse words
decorating this blank white page.
