Overwhelming pressure
The murky blue water surrounds me
At this point, swimming doesn't seem like an option
Why couldn't the warm shore be enough for me?
The sun's bright rays reach me through the water
Air bubbles reach the surface of the water
I sink deeper and deeper
The earth's cold water finally overtakes me
I realize that this is it
My final goodbye from the bottom of the ocean

I have been writing for a while now but this poem has always tugged at the back of my head The poem itself sounds like someone describing what sinking is like but its so much more its about the pressure of school and home life all weighing me down and how hard it is to get back up
