A Real Fairytale !
Bonjour Bonaparte!
Wherefore thou stellar boast?
Hallo Hitler,
Why let Dachau hearten thy soul?
Your battles are mighty,
But mightier are fought each day.
Non-inscribed on the pages of glorified history,
Yet deeply engraved on different minds' mysteries.
World wars of both times,
Bow down unanimously
Infront of the human crown.
For no blood was shed,
Nor any swords sharpened
Surprisingly,
Yet Apocalypse happened!
Not once, not twice but regularly each day,
Millions of them went unrecorded inn the past,
Billions of them continue to happen each day.
Abominably surprising how inks have yet not estimated,
The pain in these broken tales.
Destruction here, destruction there,
Depression is everywhere.
Eight billion princely battle grounds
And counting...
Isn't Apocalypse too small a word
To fit in this range?
No words seem to rhyme,
For this collection
Of real Fairytales.
All eight Billions of them,
Begin with one phrase:
‘Once upon a time,
There was a king and there was a queen...’
The infinity in their tale was broken;
They were like two parallel universes
Without a 'Happy Forever!'
One was the king of wit
Another queen of emotions.
Can never go along with each other,
Yet cannot exist without the other.
The king was called Brain
And she was named Heart.
Amongst this chaos of their
Domestic war,
Kingdoms got destroyed,
Epidemics set everywhere.
Resulting in a bunch of unruled kingdoms;
Internally dead bodies,
Lying here, Lying there,
Lying everywhere!
