Echoed
You hear it when you stand
An echoed silence, at hand
Wind whistling across trees
An eerie wind, that frees
The leaves from branches
Blowing them through advances
Of strength
Especially when the sky darkens slightly
Setting a dark mood rightly
The tree now remains bare
As if leaves were never there
All this occurs as I stand
An echoed silence, at hand
In my backyard
