Psithurism
Psithurism means the sound of the wind in the trees
And rustling leaves and if that is the case
Then maybe sitting under humongous London Plane trees
And listening to nature hum it’s beautifully soothing song
Wouldn’t seem so far fetched as a reality
Maybe my solace was always to be found
with my back against it’s white and peeling bark
Maybe my quiescent soul was meant
to patter its feet in gusts of wind
