Loop
Awkward silence has never bothered me
In fact it’s worse when you speak
Every other word seems to somehow make me wanna cry.
I’ve never had sympathy for the lost
And today isn’t a new day for us
So listen this morning
To how fast you make my heart beat when you’re in the room
And how slowly you make me blink
When my brain can’t process any move and you make.
Yesterday I took my shot
You notice tomorrow
And I’ll think about it forever
That when I’m with you
I don’t breathe
But I say my everything.
And I throw away your favorite bottle of whiskey.
