I typed,
She read,
She said,
I read,
Her heart, closed,
My heart, ripped,
Her back, turned,
My soul, burned,
Pain, eternal,
From three words,
Unsaid, unreturned,
Leaving silence,
A void, an emptiness,
A nothing, In place of a something,
In place of joy, sound,
Noise, happiness,
In place of hope…
Hope for words returned,
For love returned,
For love given,
For love shared,
A hope for love…
