Liar, Liar
Once I promised to visit and help out,
But the day turned to night
Ending up with no sound.
Come next month still no one around.
Maybe tomorrow, if I’m not busy.
Been a year still haven’t seen me.
I said the words I love you.
He said it back, meaning it.
You could tell by the way he looked.
People started questioning me.
'Do you mean it?'
My answer every time. Nope.
I told her, she was my best friend,
She believed me, so did everyone else
But isn’t that what you tell every
little annoying sister, who follows you around
I never felt regret about my decision, until now.
Once I was told that I’m helpful
and such a good big sister.
I was told we were a perfect couple.
I didn’t like all the praise,
I wish they knew all the lies inside.
I wish I knew how to tell the truth.
