Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
I can hear my machine.
beeping.
It is so
Odd
to be living on a machine.
I think
to myself;
is this life?
My heart - beats.
My lungs - breathe.
My brain - thinks.
But am I alive?
Life is smiles.
Life is moving.
Life is seeing.
Life is love.
If my only life
comes from being
hooked to a machine
I’d rather not be alive at all.
