Strange Reflections

There’s a stranger staring at me.
We share the same facial features,
But I don’t know who this person is.
This person is laughing
And I am crying.
I rarely ever laugh and mean it,
But this person seems like they are truly happy.
I wish I were this person,
They seem to have so many friends.
I have no one, I am alone.
This person has it all together
While I still try to glue the pieces from the last time I was broken,
If only I knew this person,
Maybe they could show me how to be,
Me.
The person was me.
But who am I now?
