Highest of Praise
Oh how I lay at your feet,
Giving praise to your holy name.
For you died for me,
So that I may be free.
I am slave to your endless love,
Even the tiniest animal lifts your name so high.
You were beaten and broken for me,
You carry my scars to that I don’t.
You have cleansed me this your blood,
For you are my savior.
I will never be ashamed of who you are,
The all mighty God.
Even the mountain tops bow in your presence,
You are the tamer to the endless storm.
You are the blaze that is burning in my soul,
The sole that covers my feet.
You are water that quenches my thirst,
And the bread of life that feeds my soul.
You are the beginning and the end,
The starter and the finisher.
You said let there be and so it was,
You are the almighty God the lord most high.
You are the booming that comes after lighting,
And the water that gushes from the hilltop.
You are my Lord, my God,
I will praise you forever and ever.
Amen, amen.
