Summer Rain
Remember me
During the summer seasons
When the fireworks ignite
In between the first and second spark
That leaves you in peaceful silence
And you’re waiting,
Waiting for a sign
Remember me
When you have a moment to think
I hope I devour the night sky
And swing on the stars
And I flare for every spectator
Remember me by the river
When you glide your fingers
through the glassy water
And claim the Koi fish within your palms
Remember my eyes
In the mirror of the sea
Release me like an afternoon sigh
