I am from warmth
The hot muggy air
Marshmallows roasting
Campfires lighting up the starry night sky
I am from perogies and praise
Trying to get all a’s
Walking in the park
When my grandma says it’s getting pretty dark
I am from laughter and love
Always giving big hugs
Picking people up when they’re feeling down
And trying not to show a frown
