Dreamer
We are dreamers
Fatigued redeemers
Reckless and filled with hope
Simply trying to cope
Drinking dandelion wine
By the moonlight shine
Trading tales of the night
Celestial bodies, pulled at the speed of light
In directions unknown
We travel alone
Feet on the ground
Everything else, eastbound
Coloring our dreams on the edge of the Milky Way
Wondering to what divine creature we pray
Out pastels of midnight oil
Throw the sky into turmoil
We are dreamers at heart
Searching for the start
Of greater worlds than ours
Perhaps among the stars
