Kilonova
She was like a breath of fresh air
A winged dove with not one care
She rose and fell with the wind
Delicate alabaster skinned
He was like a wall of steel
Aching just to feel
A mere figure of existence
An act of pure resistance
She was whimsical and light
With vigor and fight
Beautiful and rare
Gazing with an unearthly stare
He was brooding and cold
Never fitting the solid mold
Melodic and pensive
Like an age old symphony, extensive
Together they became one
Like the moon and the sun
Colliding in a burst of kerosene
Vines twirled around each other, ancient and green
They washed over each other like a crashing wave
After years of wandering aimlessly through this desert of nullity
Oasis
Finally
