Her
She’s not the same person onside that she is inside.
She’s a daughter,
a sister,
a friend.
She’s never been a hater,
a lier,
a cheater.
She’s someone they could trust,
love,
and rely on.
But she doesn’t want to be that someone…
anymore.
She wants to rebel.
She wants to be free.
She wants to take off for no reason.
She wants to disappear.
She wants to love…
love the love she loves…
not the love they want her to love.
She wants to show her hate.
She wants to not say ‘sorry’…
for not being actually sorry.
She wants to be the traveler,
the dreamer,
the hater…
that she is inside.
Her mother needs her to be there.
Her brother needs her to have that paycheck.
Her family needs her.
So, her she is,
stuck.
