After the Before
February 4, 2019
Before,
I thought
I knew what I wanted.
I thought
That I could just reach out and grab it.
But after,
I realized
That I can’t.
I realized
that I wasn’t
Running
Or
Flying
Or
Thriving
But instead I was
Dying.
When I stepped into
The after
I was able to
Free myself from the
Bonds tethering me
To my past
Mistakes and failures.
It was only in this
After state
Did I learn how to
Run
And
Fly
And
Thrive.
Before,
I was constrained
By my own mind.
Now,
I understand how
To live in the after.
