Tell her she’s special

Make her believe the thought was her own

That’s all it takes

Don’t even think about wasting the energy

to break down the walls she built

Be careful with the fragile soul that’s now in your palms

You don’t deserve her vulnerability

Your lies will become comforting

Your voice will suddenly be louder

So tell her that she is beautiful

Get her used to doubting herself

It will come in handy

Treat her like she’s as special as you say

She’ll begin to push back if you don’t

She will point out that words are nothing

if the actions don’t match

So take on your acting career

Treat her like she is one of a kind

Convince her that she is worth so much more

than what she tells the mirror

She will believe you

thinking she has no other choice

Now tell her you love her

Even if she doesn’t love you

she will tell you what she thinks you want to hear

She has given you every piece of herself

Take a moment to appreciate how easily

she hands over her own heart

Be gentle as a human being

But be wise as a puppet master

Move quickly before she finally sees
