We think, we comprehend, we flourish
We shape, we exchange, we buttress
We critique, we persist, we don’t care
Yet, most don’t
They move, like striders on water, gliding
Rather than take a plunge
The cold, deep blue water, enveloping
The unknown, the mis understood, the soon to be understood
A tragic loss, potential left for nothing, but not for some
Some take the plunge, the find the treasures beneath
But infrequently, we emerge form the deep to tell the others of the gems discovered
But they simply glide atop the lake, looking for the answers on the surface
Your understanding matters not but to yourself
