Afternoon Warmth
Shades of pink, orange, and yellow
Longingly blend with each other
And hug like married sisters,
Melting into one another.
The warmness envelopes
All who are lost and astray.
They are gathered back
And feel the comfort that they ought to,
Pulling them back together
In unity.
Though the warmth affects all,
Only few will stop to admire
The beauty radiated
From this sight of paint on the sky’s canvas
That charges the calm and happy
Spark in their humble hearts.
