Desert Rain
Why is it every time I fall for a guy, he's not what I had in mind.
I may be foolish but I am willing if you give me a second of your time.
Because I don't want to be another girl you use on repeat. I don't want to change myself because you don't like the real me.
If you dont like me, tell me, spare me a broken heart. The chances of us being real is like asking for rain as I stand in the desert.
All this pain, would have been avoided if you were smart.
I disregarded every time you called me pretty because it was just your imagination drifting.
I wish I could be taken back to the night we met so I can tell myself what I'm supposed to do
