Sleep
When you’re asleep, you have no pressures of the outside world. You are free, both mentally and physically. As soon as you close your eyes, you can be anywhere or anyone. You’re free to be you and all past judgements are gone. A sound mind and a sound body. But of course, there’s always that dark twist to things. Your deepest and darkest fears, lurking at the very corners of your dreams. You can’t see them, but you know that they’re there. But once again, there is an upside. You usually never remember your dreams. I’m not talking about the random ones with flying hotdogs. I’m talking about the real dreams. The things you think about when you’re no longer conscious. Those, you will never remember and at that moment, you’re free.
