You're Dead To Me and Don't Know it
There’s things I would like to say to you
In a dream, maybe
Because if I actually told you it would kill me. it would eat me from the inside
Funny how honesty
Just as much as it can set you free
It can trap you all the same
I have to be careful to lie about all the things I say
So it doesn’t make anything different.
You were stolen from me
And I’m the one who has to say sorry about it.
I’m the one who has to sit back
And pretend that I feel fine.
You know I don’t but you’ll ignore it
and that’s okay.
Corpse.
