Seeds
Seeds of inspiration, I keep swallowing.
Seeds of self love, I keep planting.
Buried deep inside of my skin, & sharp inside of my lungs.
In hopes they will grow & leave me indefinitely inspired.
Rich in self love.
To the point of suffocation.
To the point where roses bloom from beneath my eyelids.
But lately, it just feels like i'm gouging my own skin; swallowing pellets of false hope.
I hope these little seeds start to feel like something more than being choked.

I am on a never ending journey to fall in love with myself the way I fall in love with the world.
I am constantly looking for ways to connect with myself and my writing.
This poem is a little snippet of the start of my own poetry novel. I am just starting, but am very excited to develop it.
I hope others are able to find truth and comfort in my journey.
