Water
I feel the heat hit my skin
Rays of sunshine kiss the ground
I reach for a bottle of water,
Freezing cold.
Refreshed from the heat
I close the condensated bottle
knowing that I will always have water.
Taken for granted.
A little boy feels the heat hit his skin
Breathes heavily from dehydration
He walks for miles to find water.
keeps walking.
Finally reaches his destination.
Fills a heavy bucket
Knowing that is all he has,
In need.

Water, a simple thing, taken for granted everyday. We don't realize how fortunate we actually are.
