Pressure. Pressure.

This, I have not felt for so long:
The pressure in my foot,
On my chest, and
I can’t stop looking.
My gaze, on a daily basis,
Runs wild, with no place of rest
Short of breath.
I feel the blood in my face,
It’s so lovely it hurts.
I feel so stupid,
Even though it’s only
Natural.
I was afraid of this,
For a while at least;
The fear is gone now.
As my pulse begins to race,
I open my arms to
Embrace.
