A Morning Poet
Breath one,
Breath two.
In the sky
And ocean too.
A golden arch
Reflects all life.
Brought in deep March,
Leaving us in rife.
A small glimpse of the day
Brings great joy
Simply knowing not everything
In this world
Is sour and sorrowful.
The peace of an early fog
And soft stream allow samples
Of the world surrounding.
Dash of leaves,
Flow of h-two-o,
Hum of delicate insects,
And squirms of the creatures beneath.
This is the time of day
Harmony is found.
Won’t you join this moment
To see the garden
In the hidden mists?
