Forbidden Love
A love so secret.
It feels so right,
But it’s said to be wrong.
“A sin to society”
“A disgrace to humanity”
This love is so forbidden in the world’s eyes.
Shall we continue to love?
I think of what happened if we did,
And even worse…
If we didn’t.
Would anyone be so foolish as to letting this affection go to waste?
Not I.
Oh, the regret I would feel everyday.
Not holding you, kissing you, I would certainly die.
Surely the Lord can forgive me,
For I have done so much worse,
But it’s the world I worry about.
Would they turn their back on us?
Will they accept us even though we’re different?
Will they love us, despite our forbidden love?

The world tends to use religion as a reason to spread hate. They criticize and hurt people for how they spread love and yet they still call themselves religious and peaceful.
