Where I'm From
I’m from spending hours on a bus—
traveling a thousand times, to states on the weekend,
playing teams from coast to coast.
I’m from ice rinks, arenas, and bag skates.
I’m from being focused on one thing—training all year—every year for it.
I’m from sacrificing being a kid, for a dream, becoming a reality.
I’m from summer nights—
summer days, and living for lake days.
Wakeboarding, surfing, tubing, swimming, running—
I’m from the outdoors, sunrise to sunset.
A kid who loves riding atvs, and snowmobiles,
but not afraid of walking around skyscrapers.
I’m from watching the sunrise—to watching the sunset—having busy days—
Trying to be a kid…
But still pursuing a dream.
I’m from Friday nights, watching football games, hanging with friends.
Living in the moment...
I’m from working all year for one moment—
from state finals, to national championships.
I’m from sacrificing being a kid, for a dream.
I’m from long bus rides—from experiencing the world.
