New Beginnings
From one set of parents…
but raised by a another
found a New start, New people, New family
From a town of two thousand—
one acre yard and six bedroom house
moved to three bedroom house and constant cars
From a little blue bike, struggling to stay up
to 25 miles on blue sunny sky sundays,
with race day right around the corner;
From a four o’clock phone call…
that would change how I look at life
Now made into an only child at the age of 16;
From summer days, with a burning sun
six hours a day with friend that become family
that end with Friday night lights;
