Perfection
Perfection is an aspiration.
Undesirable attraction,
Incapable of providing satisfaction.
Strive to be better, they say.
Diminish and disguise your flaws, they say.
Act one way, act another.
Store the disappointments away.
Perfection is visible,
It is structure, it is defined in simplicity.
Perfection is audible.
It is persuasion and plasticity.
But it does not exist.
The aspiration of perfection is infinitely a misleading fit.
No, the lacking trait is not something you mistakenly missed.
The lacking trait is nonexistent,
I️ promise you won’t be left succeeding it.
