The grasp is close,
I want something that I can't foresee.
Out of reach,
I stare out into the beauty, awed and carefree.
There must be something more for me out there.
A more fulfilling future,
Aspirations carried lulling all the hopes through the air.
Dreams encourage me,
I️ won’t let the depth swallow my goal.
I️ wonder what I️ can be,
When I️ persevere to enhance my soul.
Things can change in a heartbeat,
One beat I️ am confused and misguided,
The next it could be those very dreams that I️ come to meet.
The struggles I️ have abided,
The barriers I️ have been provided.
I️ am now looking past the tree line ahead of me.
Looking beyond the filtered realities,
I️ understand there is more to the world I️ have yet to see,
And I️ need to start to take in the moments and seize.
I will go beyond as far as my eyes will show me,
I️ will follow the path that was blindly meant to be.
