The Day I Realized
Sometimes I sit
Sit just thinking
About the day
The day when I realized
The sun never rises
And the sun never sets
We just move
And turn
And walk along
The path
In endless circles
Cobble stone and
Pavement
In an endless orbit
A concrete sidewalk
Revolving
And
Rotating
Two buy two
Too many to count
Until we get dizzy
And the world floats around us
Spinning
And
Sickening
While the in the distant future
The endless future
The sun swallows us whole.
