Where the wind takes us
Your eyes ask me where I want to go
And i'd like to say anywhere but back
My darling i've fallen for you much too fast.
You see, I dont want to go to a physical place.
I want to jump in your skin and hold your soul tight,
Like gripping my religion.
You make me feel like I dont need to gasp for air
You are the one place i can breathe
My love, can't you see?
I was drowning in a sea of regrets
And you dived in to save me.
Your eyes.
They ask me where I want to go.
And even though i'm already here,
Still I say,
Where the wind takes us.

This is a poem I wrote in a creative writing class about someone very dear to me. :)
