Paper Boy
The paper boy craned his paper neck down at the paper buildings and the paper people and he sighed a paper sigh
Because his paper girl was down there in that paper city somewhere, smoking a paper cigarette, blowing paper smoke with her paper friends
His paper toes toed the paper edge of the paper building he stood on
The paper people looked up and shouted at the paper boy but his eyes were fixed on the paper sky
The paper door behind him rattled as paper policemen tried to break it down to save his paper life
He thought about his paper girl
And her paper kisses
And her paper lies
He fingered the paper note in his paper pocket
The paper boy felt a steady sense of paper calm and his paper sneaker took a single paper step over the paper edge
Just as the paper policemen broke through the paper door with good paper intentions
The paper boy fell like paper and he looked like paper when he hit the paper sidewalk, albeit a little crumpled
And his paper girl wept paper tears over his paper remains
The paper politicians gave paper speeches written by their paper speechwriters on what a paper tragedy this is
And every paper person shook their paper heads and said in bland paper voices that they’ll do better with the next paper life
