Stop and Think
Each day brings new challenges
For us to overcome
But it's hard to stop and think
When our lives are on the run
With thinking as an inconvenience
To our lives abroad
Stupidity reigns superior
Which strikes me as quite odd
For if we would try our hardest
And do our best each day
Perhaps people would stop saying
"I have no faith in the world today"
No more living in the shadow of another
Who, behind closed doors
Is battling diversity
In their own personal wars
While others are telling what to do,
And what to say
Walk your own pathways,
Live the right way
And you'll soon find yourself without a worry
Happily writing your very own story
