Opposites Attract
Forever, ever, and ever ago,
There once was a boy who loved someone so;
Creative and inquisitive this boy was,
And quite the secret keeper for only because.
Whom is the one for he cared about though?
Is the person described as he is? Dreadfully no.
As he is creative this interest is smart,
A kind soul they are, and true to the heart.
Opposites attract, but under circumstances?
A love to not be loved equals unequal chances.
Never in the eyes of the people around him,
Will this boy ever be able to love this person;
For a person unlike him in one way is like in another,
An unforeseen wall by the unforeseen lover.
Yet for this love to be true society must be coy,
For people are dreadful people when a boy loves a boy.

This ballad is straight from the heart. A boy crushing on another boy, struggling for acceptance he doesn't care about from society. A day to day problem in most LGBT relationships is people who have no business (or say) in who someone loves; that's what I'm trying to change.
